Deutsche Wertarbeit, solo project of German progressive rock scene’s Dorothea Raukes (and ex-singer of Streetmark), gets a reissue on Seattle’s Medical Records. Previously a 1981 release, the 6 instrumental synth tracks are in the same vein as the kraut greats – Cluster, Tangerine Dream, Baumann and Wolfgang Reichmann. Melting together spacey textures with pop sensibilities, the eponymous full-length is a wonderfully inventive re-release of a lost classic.
