Nine mutant, psychedelic electronic oddities from Gareth Goddard aka Cherrystones on his new album for the brilliant Brutal Music. ‘Red Nails’ takes his love for hip hop, one of the many strands that makes up his eclectic music backdrop, and distills it amidst a technicolour dreamworld of post-punk, prog and industrial noise elements. The final result is a bruising head-wreck of an album that sounds just as alien as it does excellent.
