The Hamburg-based producer, Christopher Rau, one of the faces behind the city's stellar Smallville shop and label, returns with his second full-length album. With his debut album, Rau took a minimalistic approach to sound design - a reduced bassline and a few sound elements and turned them into an ethereal collection of warm, deep house tracks. Progressing with this release, he has a far more punchier approach to his latest offering. Whilst the disco loops of 'Unlimited Dancemoves' and the electro drums of 'High' and 'Weird Alps' still maintain Rau's love of the dreamy samples, this album has far more tracks aimed at the dancefloor. A welcome update to his sound palette.
