New edition for Josh Wink’s mid-90s anthem Higher State Of Consciousness here. Emerging via Strictly Rhythm back in 1995, the track hit the top ten of the UK singles chart in both its first incarnation and a remix. The ‘Original Tweekin’ Acid Funk Mix’, which very much does what it says on the tin, appears on the digital version here along with the deliciously seductive ‘Hardhouse’ version and a stomping ‘611 Acid Groove’ edit. The vinyl, set in a fetching red and white splatter, contains the tweaker and a similarly aptly-named ‘Deep & Slow Chill Edit’.
