A welcome return for Jan Jelinek, back once again with the second edition in a four mini-album compilation series bringing together a highly diverse range of Jelinek’s works, following on from his survey of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop on ‘Music for Fragments’. Title track ‘PrimeTime’ hears wistful, cinematic touches converging with flutes with eclectic eccentricity. On the B-side we hear three shorter pieces made up from of new edits/alternative versions of previously released tracks of a track from 2009 (‘Hipbird’), a shirt excerpt of a 2010 limited edition 7” (SynthStil) and a collaboration with video artist Karl Kleim (‘LoneStar’).
