Warp’s latest signings, the electronic pop trio last heard with their debut album for Hyperdub ‘North’ and perhaps best remembered for the timeless ‘Aidy’s Girl’s A Computer’, reveal their first single, ‘Timeaway’, a glimpse in to the sonic universe of their forthcoming album. The heavily processed voice and the bubbling textures reveal an underwater garden, where the song slowly forms out uniquely crafted audio elements, minute repetitive moments looping like a music box, all coming together to construct a dense and rich pop arrangement. On the flip-side we are presented with ten locked grooves entitled ‘News #1-10’, 10 musical moments used to etch their unique audible world on to your mind.
