A moniker shrouded in as much mystery as many of their other aliases — Cyrus, Quadrant, and of course Basic Channel, to name a few — Mark Ernestus and Moritz von Oswald share some of their Rhythm & Sound cuts on vinyl once again. Roll Off hasn’t been on wax since its release in 1998, and we simply cannot understand why. It hosts two expansive sides of bilious dub techno in the duo’s trademark minimal style; languid, meditative and smoky as it muses on clips and stutters by applying just the right amount of delay to send them careening towards the corners of the mix.
