After supplying the vinyl heads with a split four-part edition of Ricardo Villalobos’ new album, Perlon finally present the complete and continuous material on one mixed CD. The first album to appear from him since ‘The Au Harem D’Archimede’ in 2004, ‘Dependent and Happy’ snakes along without any interruption, a fully absorbed feast that introduces more and more depth as the album progresses – new motifs, new themes, new textures and new movement.
