Dark Entries come good again with another rare and out of print re-release, here presenting the 1982 minimal wave masterpiece Jazzmad from French electronic artist Erick Moncollin AKA ADN’ Ckrystal. JazzMadd is the output of an extended recording session built around the legendary Korg MS-20 synthesiser that Moncollin was offered a chance to use in 1980. Here, the synthesiser has been utilised to full capacity, drawing out playful melodies on the classic ‘Cocaina Vitamina’ which also feature Moncollin's distinctive vocals. ‘Le Blues De La Fille Aux Jambes De Jeans’ is a racy instrumental that showcases some dexterous key playing over a heavily processed, stripped electronic beat.
