BBE bring us a hot selection of the rare disco and boogie in the form of ‘Private Wax’. Compiled by Zaf from zafmusic.com the selection is unsurprisingly informed and inspired, no doubt encouraged from his long-running presence behind the counter at London’s Reckless Records store. Swimming in the unchartered waters of small and independent label releases, Zaf unearths gems such as Ashanti’s spinning disco mirror ball ‘Dance’, the funk-ridden ‘Music Freak’ by Contagious and Mr Fox’s stripped bare ‘Party’ Track’.
