Estonia’s goddess of lo-fi decadence is back, presenting the fruits of her well documented retreat to the warm climes of Lisbon, Portugal to record a new album. ‘Will Happiness Find Me?’ is an impressively eclectic mixtape-style collection of avant-garde pop, reclusive sound studies and weirdo electronic oddities. From the opening eastern delights of ‘The Sound’ to the gliding ambience of ‘Fire’ featuring the early 90s verbal gymnastics of Chase Royal, Minerva manages to compress a lifetime of influences into a manageable and endless captivating full-length piece of music.
