The second part in Strut's 'Factory Dance' compilation double-part series arrives bringing together a wealth of Factory Records gems and rarities. Mixed and compiled by Bill Brewster, the compilation charts an electrifying transitional moment in music history as US dance music pervaded the hallucinatory experiments and post-punk of UK's north. What ensues is an exploratory collection of anything-goes/DIY sounds ranging from the icy cool of A Certain Ratio's funk classic 'The Fox' to X-O-Dus' dub stylings on 'Society' and Nyam Nyam's arpeggiated motorik pop.
