Hiroki Mamoru from Japan’s techno production is far from vacuous – as his moniker might suggest. Instead, as label Accidental describes it – it’s a ‘bunch of industrial machines…organising a rave’. There’s a mechanical dialogue running through the tracks that gives rise to a tribal, quasi-African sound with Matthew Herbert-influenced flair.
