Minor Science lands with his first new material since 2020’s Second Language album, a hardcore, high octane rollercoaster through hustle culture-core aesthetics. Certainly not for the faint of heart, 064 is planted firmly in the banger zone, with gunshot breakbeats crashing through the windows of ‘Workahol’, chased after by dub sirens and an all-consuming, vigorous bass. ‘Casheine’ turns an even more imperative route with its “Pay me, pay me” samples, featuring forceful rhythms sequenced with corroded beats and serrated synths.
