Innervisions throw out a curveball in the form of the collaboration between Los Angeles’ singer and songwriter Ry Cumming and Berlin’s Frank Wiedemann of Âme fame. ‘Howling’ keeps it simple with seductive vocals from Cummings and an acoustic guitar and a constant unsyncopated beat whilst the Âme remix keeps the vocal intact but replaces Cummings’ strings for a driving, yet restrained rhythm.
