Matthew Herbert forgoes the sounds of farm animals in order to resuscitate his much-loved Wishmountain project. As is customary, the producer is in provocative mode, dredging up the top ten best sellers of the omnipresent supermarket monopoly from ‘Andrex’ to ‘Nescafe’ and applying them to ten tracks of throbbing rhythm made with found sounds and the roll call of household staples in question. For instance, opening track ‘Lucozade’ is a lightly fizzing, highly melodic piece, whilst ‘Walkers’ crunches its way through the pummelling low-end of a packet of potato chips.
