Bufo Bufo returns to the Altered Sense label for another healthy slab of rave-ready cuts entitled the Weatherworker EP. Working from his usual palette of acid streaked bass and dusty breakbeats, Bufo doesn’t stray too far from his prior work on Altered and other reputable labels like Withhold and Furthur Electronix, instead choosing to find subtle tweaks and motif shifts within the curves. Bufo achieves some of his lightest and brightest work yet on ‘Viridian’ and the closing title track simply by virtue of clearing away some of the digital debris and centering the crystal clear melody.
