50 Weapons announce working with this 'supergroup' collaboration of Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich and Flea of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers known as Atoms For Peace. This single is the first release in a series, focusing on a different side to the label's recognisable sound. Occupying the a-side is the group's remix of Other Lives' 'Tamer Animals' - a colourful, audible collage of glitch-based composition that reminds us a little of Oval, SND or the more hospitable side of the Raster Noton sound. On the flip, Yorke, Godrich et al, fold inward, reworking their own, suitably-titled 'Other Side' tune - where more organic instrumentation overlaps the more complex sphere of digital synthesis.
