The drone-metal duo, OM, explore a more expansive sound on their latest and most accomplished album, ‘Advaitic Songs’. The claustrophobic intensity of their previous outings takes a less intrusive position here, instead revealing a fluid expanse of instruments, floating vocals and Arabic motifs. A call to prayer, this is music of compelling grace and grandeur.
