Mark Fell continues his fascination with rolling garage grooves and chopped-up future-facing house with the third release from his Sensate Focus project and Editons Mego sub-label. In the same way that the first and second parts in the series swung with the kind of optimised groove-ridden flow of old-school NY-house greats but were skewed and pressurised enough to appeal to diehard SND fans, the third part in the series is a stuttering lick of cut-up vocals and rattling hi-hats that will appeal to those with an affection for the kind of avant-garde programming that nonetheless still speaks to the dance floor with bodysonic dynamism.
