Back for his second Pictures Music release is Bobby Champs, who offers more tracky house music and skewed, warehouse style techno. The title tune, 'Drag Queen' nods to NY's 'ballroom' sound, old and new, with slamming Sound Factory-style beats and giddying synths. Elsewhere 'Latte' and 'Charlie' nod to the Armand Van Helden's old school, rugged techno sound and the galloping, digital-only bonus, 'Mint 400' rounds off this killer EP. Fierce.
