‘Delay 1968’ represents some of Can’s earliest recordings - a compilation of early outtakes originally intended for Can’s debut album, but cast aside due to no interest from record labels, no doubt because of their inclination towards more unusual song structures and an unique grasp on psychedelia. Officially release in 1981, ‘Delay 1968’ is pretty essential for those with more than a passing interest in the path taken by these pioneers of experimentation.
