Bleep

The second installment of this young Danish producer’s Spectrum series for Martyn’s excellent 3024 label sees Erosion flow continue down a path of making an amalgamation of techno and bass music with a distinct nod to the early 90’s sounds pushed by Belgian outfits R&S and Buzz. Opener ‘Syvv’ is warm and elevating with heavenly chords shimmering atop a broken kick line and glistening open hi-hats. ‘Better Way’ has a pained vocal loop sat way back in the mix and pads evocative of those found in grime. Closing track ‘Eclipse’ is a straighter techno number, with synths that swell and drumming that shuffles. A definite journey track.
