New EP from the busiest-man-in-electronic-music...on which the kid from 606 plays with footwork rhythms, skulking beats n’ breaks, darkened analogue discoid flavours and shuffling ambient miniatures (resonant of Kuedo’s last). One thing that surprises here- gone are the abrasive, head-melt techniques of yore, in place a bittersweet command of aching melody and sad, plangent lead lines that are actually quite lovely.
