Painfully energetic footwork and deconstructions from African producer H-SIK on his debut EP, ‘Cocody’. Set across eight tracks his extra-long EP comes tangled up with borrowed influences and impressive snapshots of polyrhythmic beats. ‘Cocody’ delivers shards of more contemporary underground club music alongside influences from ambient sounds, jungle and grime.
