Steeped in curiosity, Civilistjävel!’s first LP of archival material was delivered enigmatically by Low Company in 2018. The music matches the shroud of mystery surrounding the Swedish artist, with atmospheric vignettes treading in plaintive tones and elongated ambient dirges droning in hushed reverence. These tracks are minimalist and beckoning, tiptoeing amongst abandoned forest cabins and industrial ruins, where a familiar techno beat stumbles in and fades away just as quickly between warm synths whispering cold melodies.
