Lean and robust techno with some signature stylistic touches from Peter Van Hoesen with four new tracks for his own Time To Express label. Focusing on more abstract forms, Van Hoesen’s material shudders with a form of experimentalism that is none the less dexterous and prime for the club. ‘Nineteen Continued’ is raw jacking techno replete with fluid synth work. Whilst ‘Admoniton’ and both ‘Transitional State’ tracks take the sound to somewhere more intangible and inspired.
