Big, widescreen dubstep from Kyrptic Minds, heading up a new release for Pinch’s Tectonic imprint. ‘Askum’ is the embodiment of dark-stepping technoid dubstep, clanging around in a cage of precision, sharp metallic detail and icy synths. ‘When Two Paths Cross’ carries off where the previous track left off with similarly techy atmosphere, minor explosions set off the background with shards of jagged danger as the track runs a mad warehouse dash.
