Following up 'Fancy Restaurant', the first single to make a solo outing, comes the album that spawned it, 'The Keychain Collection' released on Giles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings. Taking a different approach to the chop-up and screw R&B vocals that seem to be ubiquitous at present, Gang Colours presents them alongside loosely exuberant electronica, delicate rhythms and textured low ends. Soulful melancholia given a surreal edge.
