Seekersinternational return to Sneaker Social Club after seven years with another hefty selection of dubwise weapons. ‘No Parasites’ wastes no time getting started with its deep bass wobbles and fiercely skittering breakbeats, taking a detour as it flips halfway into a blissed out semi-ambient mist before the heavy club rhythms come back even harder. ‘2 Gold Chain’ is a mini-mixtape of street conversations, passing boombox R&B and reggae sounds, and bass thumping through the walls of the club next door, turned up to eleven on ‘Original Of The Original’ with slow burn beats enveloped in low frequencies.
