Title track ‘Modern Driveway’ makes full use of gauzy dancefloor grooves while ‘Ovals’ radiates a myriad of miniature twinkling bleeps. Abbott’s analogue synths lend a sense of ebb and flow to what is a wholly cerebral listening experience, ushering him into the elite circle of producers where the likes of James Holden and Nathan Fake stand.
