2021 saw Andy Bell of pioneering shoegaze group Ride made waves in the electronic world (and a serious dent in the charts) with the release of his debut LP under the the GLOK alias on Bytes. Though not his first foray into the world of progressive electronic music, Pattern Recognition was the culmination of a series of experiments and loose tracks that Bell initially trickled out anonymously. The GLOK party now continues with this handsome remix package for three of Pattern Recognition’s strongest tracks. With versions that range from dub, to electronica, to italo, Bytes’ invited guests show off all new sides to this already mighty collection.
