Someway to celebrate 25 here, from Berlin outfit Fachwerk... Label owner Mike Dehnert serves up his first long-form since the excellent Framework over on kindred label Delsin. Here Dehnert takes us through similar, thrilling climes. Terse, dread-filled ambient drone kicks us off, then we into the dangerous analogue disco of “Fraction” (think Legowelt on downers) and so it goes... Grainier and more abstract than Framework, it sounds like he’s plugged his rig into the tape machine, hiss n’ all, meaning thirteen tracks of techno-musik that stands way above scores of pale Berlin imitators.
