Bass Clef’s trajectory on his latest album out on Punch Drunk is a cosmic journey through martianed hinterlands. ‘Hackney – Chicago – Jupiter’ pretty much sums up his sc-fi heavy sound in the title, a cross-border project sprung from the bass heavy sounds of London, via the celestial groove of Chi-town house, with destination outer space.
