Beguiling music from Waves on Canvas, the brainchild of Italian musician Stefano Guzzetti, who crafts an LP’s worth of songs delicately combining elements of ambient, classical and electronica. Moreover, Guzzetti lends a special place to vocals, featuring the talents of Louise Rutowski (This Mortal Coil), Ian Masters (Pale Saints) and Peter Nooten (Xymox), the former appearing on the first single to appear from the album, a hauntingly beautiful piece of orchestral arrangement and evocative vocal work.
