Dread is probably not the word to describe Lussuria’s ‘American Babylon’ (a complete collection of all the volumes making up the original three-part series), words of anxiety going only as far as to partly convey the intense trepidation and heavy atmospherics that ensue. As one would expect from Hospital Productions, imagery is unashamedly dark, a diverse and destructive landscape filled with dark ambience.
