Irishman John Daly’s second album , ‘Sunburst’, on Zurich’s Drumpoet Community, focuses less on the kind of peak-time dance floor material that made a name for him and instead goes in for something that sounds easily apt at home, as it does outdoors or in the club. A deep sound that turns techno and dub on its head with cosmic disco-house influences, lush chords and slow-burning intensity.
