Recorded over two years in Wales, LA and Reykjavik, ‘Sweet Heart Sweet Light’ is Spiritualized’s seventh studio album. Made under difficult circumstances due to Jason Pierce’s ill-health, the album soars with triumph over tribulation. A sense of life-affirmation and endless positivity. Sonically, the album hears rock ‘n’ roll power and vigour, uplifting gospel choirs and simple melodic song structures.
