The first part of a series charting the works of Ernstalbrecht Stiebler arrives on m=minimal. Stiebler embodies the true meaning of the word innovator, being one of the first German composers to base his compositions on minimal techniques, his first reductionist work, 'Extension I', traced a new path ahead of the body of composers operating at the time... 'Sequence II' appears as a new recording featuring cellist Agnieszka Dziubak whilst the organ work 'Mitteltone' from 1997 appears in its first instance performed by the 77-year old Stiebler himself.....
