Shrubbn!! follow up the brief taster release out only recently with the main event, their long player, ‘Echos’. The production alliance made up of Marco Haas (AKA T.Raumschmiere) and Ulli Bormans (AKA Schieres) reveal fourteen tracks that trace a path through wide open ambient spaces to heavily pressurised chambers. The whole album seems edged in a metallic finish, at times sharp and at others hollow and reverberating. It’s packed full of dark imagery and fine attention to detail.
