Emeralds - 'Does It Look Like I'm Here' ranked in Bleep's (as well as many other places) Top Albums of 2010. In this incredible new Jiaolong 12", the title track from the album get masterfully re-worked into 2 different versions. Taking on the remix duties is none other than Daphni (aka Dan Snaith / Caribou / Manitoba).

On the A-side, the beautiful synth work of the Cleveland trio are perfectly accentuated by Daphni as he takes the arpeggiated synth lines and mutates them for the dancefloor. The B-side is somewhat more tense and claustrophobic affair, as he strips back on the percussion and layers it on thick. Clocking in at just under 16 minutes for both tracks, the end result of the musical journey even exceeds the initial expectation of having such 2 musical entities meet. In short - brilliant.
