Richard Knox and Angela Chan, known together here as A-Sun Amissa, make steps towards something different, in this case droning density and mournful atmospheric depth. In a change from the pair’s piano-led ambience we instead hear a sombre selection of strings and guitars played with haunting hesitation. A funereal parade that makes a unique statement.
