Vladislav Delay continues revisiting his archive with his latest reissue for Keplar, remastered with previously unheard mixes. Created at a turning point in his life, Whistleblower finds the ambient dub worlds he had been cultivating torn apart by intricate and abstracted glitches and mechanical stutters. With an almost industrial sound palette, leftfield rhythms populate spacious, glowing textures. Strange winds rip through the pneumatic thumps of the title track, while whispering dolphin-like chirps and whispering beats gently move the brighter and more hopeful ambience of ‘Lumi’ along.
