The first full studio album from Jungle by Night, a Dutch nine-piece collective who explore afro-funk templates. Their afrobeat odyssey takes a more immersive approach taking in other parts of Africa such as Mali’s desert soul, Senegalese djembe rhythms and Gamelan tones. ‘Hidden’ hears a group at ease with their natural rhythms, complex and multi-layered arrangements and a live dynamic.
