A lush debut on Ford & Lopatin's Software imprint from New York musician Bill Gillim, otherwise known as Megafortress. Conceived as a series of field recordings, Gillim has since transformed them into a collection of contemplations that hear heavily processed falsetto vocals, shimmering synths and sampled bells. The final result is something that sounds like a new-age form of devotion for the edgier-than-thou DIY generation. Extremely powerful and astonishingly delicate.
