Sweat .X are a dynamic duo of Spoek Mathambo and Markus Wormstorm, hailing from South Africa. They describe their music as 'Like a 20ft painting of a black hand holding a white hand against a bed of fur and wires'.

The two bonded over mutual love of Prince and decided to form their own band. The music on the ep is a slick blend of a style they describe as ' Future-primitive' or 'Black Sweat' a mixture of Baltimore, and Miami bass, a touch of Drexciya, hip house, Prince's libido loosening funk and shiny glamorous performance art. They've got some slick production and alot of lyrics about 'booty'. You get alot of tracks for your money here, and they're all really imaginative and fresh, alot of bang for your buck. It's a killer ep, and one of the freshest things this year.
