Over recent years, Paul Dickow, under his Strategy guise, has graced the catalogues of Kranky, Orac and his self-curated, Community Library label. From his sublime 'Future Rock' album, the foundations were laid for this curious genre of outsider / house-not-house genre that has been fortified by the likes of 100% Silk over the past year. Amusingly-titled, 'Boxy Music' is tracky, skipping and more 'club', but still nuanced by primitive dub methods and analogue manipulation that have defined his sound. In a word - superb.
