Rap beat connoisseur Samiyam follows a spell of silence with a freshly baked batch of hip-hop cookies for Stones Throw.

While his style and sound haven't changed since he first came to light a decade ago with the slapstick bounce of his Hyperdub and Brainfeeder beats. It's hard to think of any producers operating within the scene who have such a reduced style, it's sort of like he has found a boxload of Chain Reaction records in a downtown bargain bin and is feeding off the dub tech blueprint while jamming on an MPC that is melting in the hot L.A. sun.
