After a few releases on labels such as Orange Milk and Bayonet, LA polymath Jerry Paper (real name Lucas Nathan) graduates to the big leagues and drops a new full-length on Stones Throw. As one might expect from a record that was co-produced by Badbadnotgood’s Matty Tavares, Like A Baby is a gorgeous listen. The tracks here mix the alt-jazz/neo-soul stylings of BBNG with a quirky songwriting style similar to Mac Demarco. This combo makes for a lovely little record that will make you wish it was Summer again.
