Returning with his first release since 2020, Hessle Audio cofounder Pearson Sound is back with another invigorating EP. After the leftfield raves of his previous Alien Mode, the opening ‘Red Sky’ leans into a more cinematic direction, making room for evocative, introspective waves of synths, as well as the sharp, jittery rhythms cutting up beats as they churn throughout. The track constantly rotates from tension building layers of murky wobbles and arpeggios to the release of burning breakbeats passages, before fading into an ambient afterglow.
